I'd been ride a cargo bike (Long John) for about 10 years and was looking for a bike with a significantly more stable loading platform – not so wobbly – as I also wanted to transport dogs. A "normal" tricycle with a front box wasn't an option due to its handling characteristics. So I searched, found one, and took it for a test ride . I was instantly smitten! I ride this "transporter" because it offers maximum flexibility, and I won't actually be transporting any people.
The bike was individually customized for me and our dog, and I think that's just great for a cargo bike in this price range.
No other manufacturer does this, and it's definitely a unique selling point. The fact that I was personally visited at my home for a Test Ride is perfect service. I would buy a Mäx & Mäleon again in a heartbeat and am even considering getting a second one. An absolutely fantastic product, highly recommended. Many thanks and best regards to the entire team!

It's especially fun in nature, and we can take the curves with a sporty feel. My dog loves it. The front wheels, combined with the strong brakes, provide safety and ensure a relaxing ride.
If someone is looking for a cargo bike – I can definitely recommend the Max & Mäleon without reservation.
I chose the Transporter because it simply looks cool and different. The sprung double front axle looks great, is more comfortable for the dog, and offers a fantastic, sporty ride – for a cargo bike of this size. The motor provides decent power, but of course, with the bike's weight, you have to accept some compromises in range or force yourself to use the lowest assistance level on flat terrain. It's certainly not agile. Not at all 🙂 ... but you know that beforehand. What takes the most getting used to for me is the cornering. It will take quite a while until I've mastered the right speeds for the various turns. For comparison, I only have the eMuli, and while it's also great (agile, short, versatile), it's not suitable for long distances for me personally (tall, heavy). I'm happy with my decision!
