Yes. The PASSENGER BIKE is designed for passenger transport: you can take adults and seniors on the Passenger Bike – as well as babies, children and teenagers. The seat is built for people up to 100 kg.
In Germany, adults may ride cargo bikes under StVO rules if a dedicated seat is provided. Ensure passengers are buckled and we recommend helmets.
Yes. The PASSENGER BIKE is perfect for babies and toddlers. Two baby or toddler seats from Milea can be mounted on the seat bench. There are also plug‑in adapters from Isofix and Steco for car seats and child seats (e.g., Maxi‑Cosi). We recommend using the weather cover when transporting babies and toddlers to protect the little ones from a breeze, sun and rain.
Thanks to two Vorderräder and the suspension in the leaning technology fährt your offspring with us especially comfortably. Another plus: Done MÄX & MÄLEON wächst with your children – you don’t have to already after a few years buy a new electric cargo bike and save a lot of money.
Yes. The PASSENGER BIKE is perfect for child transport. There are child seats and matching safety belts for any age. Additionally, plug adapters for car seats and car baby shells (Isofix, Steco) and weather‑protection accessories are available.

The passenger cabin of the PASSENGER BIKE fits two children at once – depending on size on the toddler bench or the seat bench. To take more kids, we recommend a trailer.
Yes. The PASSENGER BIKE is ideal for people with disabilities. Inclusion is part of a sustainable e‑cargo bike, so we want everyone to ride our bikes with ride. An optional low step is available for those with mobility limitations.

Yes. For the PASSENGER BIKE there is rain and weather protection. For babies and children we have a weather cover rain shelter. Usually children fit in the rain house up to the end of primary school. For big children, teenagers and adults there is a waterproof weather blanket that protects against rain. In combination with a warm rain jacket (or winter clothing) you can ride comfortably all year roundride.

All bikes from MÄX & MÄLEON must not exceed the permitted total weight of 250 kg. The PASSENGER BIKE weighs 68 kg, so up to 182 kg can be loaded – max 100 kg on the cargo area and 110 kg as the weight of the ride.
