We make no compromises when it comes to sustainability: We exclusively use high-quality, environmentally friendly components from our own production or from regional partners with a strong commitment to sustainability. Our bikes are designed to last as long as possible and adapt to changing life circumstances. And if something does break, everything is easily repairable.

It's simply a lot of fun. Its stylish design makes you stand out and sparks conversations. The tilting mechanism provides a fantastic riding experience. The powerful battery easily handles even steep inclines. For me, the perfect combination of features – being able to carry adults and children or even cargo – was the deciding factor. Yes. The PASSENGER BIKE is designed for transporting people: You can take adults and seniors on the Passenger Bike – as well as babies, children, and teenagers. The bench seat is designed to carry people weighing up to 100 kg.
In Germany, carrying adults on cargo bikes is permitted according to the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) if the bike has a designated seat. It's important that your passengers wear seatbelts. We also recommend wearing a helmet.
Yes. The PASSENGER BIKE is ideal for babies and toddlers. Two Milea baby or toddler seats can be mounted on the bench. Isofix and Steco adapters are also available for car seats and infant carriers (e.g., Maxi-Cosi). We recommend using the weather cover when transporting babies and toddlers to protect them from Breeze , sun, and rain.

The passenger cabin of the PASSENGER BIKE has room for two children at a time – depending on their size, either on the toddler bench or the regular seat. To transport additional children, we recommend a trailer.
Yes. The PASSENGER BIKE is ideally suited for people with disabilities. Inclusion is an integral part of a sustainable electric cargo bike, which is why we want to enable everyone to ride our bikes. A low step-through frame is available as an option for people with mobility impairments.

Yes. We offer rain and weather protection for the PASSENGER BIKE. For babies and children, we have a weather-covered rain house. Children typically fit in the rain house until the end of primary school. For older children, teenagers, and adults, we offer a waterproof weather blanket that protects against rain. Combined with a warm rain jacket (or winter clothing), you canride.

Yes. The PASSENGER BIKE is a sustainable electric cargo bike for passenger transport. All components are as environmentally friendly, high-quality, durable, and regionally manufactured as possible – exclusively in Germany and Europe. We keep all supply chains as short and sustainable as possible. All MÄX & MÄLEON bikes are hand-welded and assembled in Stuttgart, making each one unique. Learn more about our production here.
All MÄX & MÄLEON bikes must not exceed a maximum permissible weight of 250 kg. The PASSENGER BIKE weighs 68 kg, therefore a maximum payload of 182 kg is permitted – 100 kg on the cargo platform and 110 kg for the Ride den.

The PASSENGER BIKE is an electric cargo bike with motor assistance up to 25 km/h. The drive system from ZF Micromobility is the most powerful cargo bike motor in Germany, offering either 85 or 112 Nm of torque.
The PASSENGER BIKE is an electric three-wheeled cargo bikedesigned to offer a unique riding experience. Especially with heavier loads, a three-wheeler handles better than a two-wheeler. The chassis, with its two front wheels and air-sprung tilting technology, stabilizes the bike even in critical situations.
