We make no compromises when it comes to sustainability: We exclusively use high-quality, environmentally friendly components from our own production or from regional partners with a strong commitment to sustainability. Our bikes are designed to last as long as possible and adapt to changing life circumstances. And if something does break, everything is easily repairable.
Every MÄX & MÄLEON comes with a built-in service promise: We'll connect you with a workshop near you – or we'll do the work ourselves.

For transporting passengers, we recommend our PASSENGER BIKE, which offers suitable accessories including weather protection. Our child seat can also be mounted on the TRANSPORTER BIKE, providing space for two children. Cargo bike seats from other brands can also be mounted on the flatbed – or you can build your own solution.
You can load 110 kg onto the loading platform. The maximum permissible weight of the cargo bike is 250 kg.
The TRANSPORTER BIKE weighs 58 kg.
The loading area is 62.5 cm long and 70 cm wide. This means you can easily fit through all doors, barriers, etc. Since the loading area is flat, wider boxes can also be loaded without any problems – two Euro crates side by side are no issue.
In Germany, carrying adults on cargo bikes is permitted according to the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) if the bike has a designated seat. Our PASSENGER attachment designed for passenger transport.
The TRANSPORTER BIKE is 262 cm long. If the rear wheel can be pushed between the front seats, then the bike fits in most vans or minibuses.
The TRANSPORTER BIKE is a true mountaineer! With 112 Nm of torque, the motor effortlessly propels you up even steep hills, even fully loaded. The only crucial factor is choosing the right gear system. If you live in hilly terrain, we recommend the Rohloff hub gear.

Yes. The TRANSPORTER BIKE is a sustainable cargo bike. All components are as environmentally friendly, high-quality, durable, and regionally produced as possible – exclusively in Germany and Europe. We keep all supply chains as short and sustainable as possible. All MÄX & MÄLEON bikes are hand-welded and assembled in Stuttgart, making each one unique. Learn more about our production here.

The TRANSPORTER BIKE's air-sprung tilting technology combines the advantages of a tricycle with the sporty handling of a two-wheeler: Thanks to the two front wheels, the bike remains safe and relaxed even with a heavy load. The tilting technology significantly improves cornering and supports a dynamic riding style.
The tilt mechanism of the TRANSPORTER BIKE can be locked. This is the parking function. Therefore, the bike doesn't need a kickstand. You can use the lock for parking, loading and unloading, pushing, or maneuvering. However, the bike cannot be ride with the tilt mechanism locked.
The TRANSPORTER BIKE is an electric cargo bike with motor assistance up to 25 km/h. The drive system from ZF Micromobility is the most powerful cargo bike motor in Germany, offering either 85 or 112 Nm of torque.
Yes. The TRANSPORTER BIKE is the most versatile cargo bike. You can attach additional (even custom) attachments – for example, for transporting dogs or people. You can carry a total load of 110 kg.
The TRANSPORTER BIKE is an electric three-wheeled cargo bikedesigned to offer a unique riding experience. Especially with heavier loads, a three-wheeler handles better than a two-wheeler. The chassis, with its two front wheels and air-sprung tilting technology, stabilizes the bike even in critical situations.
This ensures safety on wet roads, in winter, and when riding off-road. A cargo tricycle is less likely to tip over than a cargo two-wheeler because it stabilizes itself. With twice the braking power, the bike stops quickly and safely – even on wet roads.
