MAKE IT EASY FOR YOURSELF
HEAVY DUTY SHUTTLE AT 3x3
“For transporting our precision parts between Plant 1 and Plant 2, we at 3x3 primarily rely on the Mäx & Mäleon. Although the plants are only 100 meters apart, we previously had to use a Sprinter van because there was no suitable cargo bike available for us.”.
We've finally found the ideal solution! The best part: the Rhino Box offers ample space and can be securely closed. This is a particular advantage in the Swabian Alps, where the weather can be quite unpleasant. Furthermore, the numerous components add up to a considerable weight. However, thanks to Mäx & Mäleon's three-wheeled design, this is hardly noticeable during transport.
In combination with the 3X3, the Mäx & Mäleon is a "perfect match" for us. The bike is specifically designed for heavy loads, and our maintenance-free hub easily withstands these stresses. Especially in commercial operations, downtime is not an option – that's why it's particularly important to us that our hub is absolutely reliable
Rafael Sinesi | Marketing Specialist @ 3×3
No other cargo carrier on the market can carry this load and still be easily maneuverable; it always feels secure, regardless of your weight. There are so many ways to use a Mäx & Mäleon – it's suitable for every situation!

I ride a different cargo bike before the Mäx, so I knew what I valued. My beloved Mäx & Mäleon fulfills everything I expect from a cargo bike. It feels so high-quality to Ride and brings so much Ride . The motor power is incredible!
Steven K.
Conclusion: good comfort, high payload, great box. This is how it should be used for commercial purposes.

You can count on it
You'll be safe with the third one
Precisely because we build a premium bike and our Sports Chassis is inspired by racing, we know what matters: Safety first!
Even in the initial design phase, we opted for three wheels, because a second front wheel provides much more stability and double the braking power – which can make a vital difference compared to a single-track bike, especially on rain-soaked, snowy or bumpy roads.
The self-developed tilting technology with suspension and super damping provides additional safety support: Even large potholes won't even make you nod – you can take corners with gusto and without fear of ending up in the ditch.
Glass bottles, medications, fresh food, or eggshells: valuable and fragile cargo is transported as safely and comfortably in the Business Transporter as in business class. Thanks to its locking tilt mechanism and parking brake, the bike doesn't budge an inch during loading – you can easily secure crates inside the box and on the lid. The Ride ensures a smooth ride on any terrain. And when parking, you can lock both the box and the bike.
We make no compromises when it comes to brakes and rely on top-quality technology made in Germany: Equipped with ultra-precise cargo bike brakes from Fahrwerker, your MÄX & MÄLEON comes to an instant stop whenever you want it to. No wobbling, no skidding, just minimal braking distance and bam – standstill.
At traffic lights or during a short chat with acquaintances, the second front wheel prevents tipping over, and thanks to the telescopic seat post, you have solid ground under your feet with one movement.
STAY CLEAN
SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY FOR ALL
A ride on the BUSINESS TRANSPORTER BIKE will even put a smile on the face of car enthusiasts: Compared to a car, you'll save a significant amount of CO2 emissions with MÄX & MÄLEON – and a lot of money at the pump. Furthermore, all bike components are environmentally friendly, high-quality, durable, and sourced as regionally as possible – almost exclusively in Germany and Europe.
This will cost us time, money, and nerves, but it's worth it and absolutely necessary. Because truly sustainable mobility of the future requires that supply chains and production processes are also designed in an environmentally conscious way.
MÄX & MÄLEON TESTED TOUGH
Alpine crossing by cargo bike 2023
443 kilometers – 5,535 meters of elevation gain. In the summer of 2023, we subjected our cargo bikes to the most fun endurance test of the year, redefining the term "steep going": From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, we traveled via Fernpass, Reschenpass, Via Claudia Augusta, Passo Campozzin and Lake Garda to Lago di Ledro in Italy.
In these videos we document everything we experienced and how the motor, battery, tilting technology, brakes and gears performed.
